On top of that, they'll occasionally heal themselves if you let them live long enough to do so. Get around that by overwhelming them with a lethal amount of shared damage quickly. Pouring damage into soft, squishy targets (like the plentiful ogres in the Vaults) can kill them off rapidly, especially if you use area-of-effect spells that hit multiple targets.
