[[Striking]] is a level 1 [[Conjurations]] spell, but as it is only available through the [[Rod of Striking]], its performance is dependent on [[Evocations]]. It deals up to 1d18 physical damage (affected by [[AC]]), but unlike [[Magic Dart]], it has only mediocre accuracy and range. Increasing Evocations will raise accuracy and damage.

==History==
Prior to [[0.10]], [[Artificer]]s could choose to begin with this rod in place of a wand, but even then its usefulness was limited.
