&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;For this character build, my main doubt is whether to train Shields or not: Blade Hands and Dragon Form will meld the shield; Statue From is pretty good and compatible with shields, but I don't like using it too much in Zot, because if things start going wrong it takes too much time to escape if you are in Statue Form (all the forms can be ended in 1.5 turns, except Statue Form that takes 2.2). I'm not a good player, but I'd shy away from shields simply because on a Tm you're already spreading XP really thin between unarmed, fighting, dodging, transmutation and spellcasting.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I guess if I stumbled across a buckler really early, I ''might'' dump in the 5 XP levels just because it's a cheap insurance policy in the early and mid-game.&lt;br /&gt;
