Looks like this template doesn't add information about damage numbers of various special attacks. For example [[worker ant]] shows "8 (bite: poison)" and not [http://crawl.chaosforge.org/index.php?title=Worker_ant&oldid=38386 "8 (bite: poison: 6-12)"].
