+5 kite shield
When it blocks an attack, there's a 33% chance to electrocute the attacker (3d7 damage, ignoring 1/2 AC).[1][2] This works up to 3 tiles away.
rElec
Allows flight
Desirability
The Storm Queen's shield[3], as just a +5 kite shield of rElec, would already be a great find for many characters. The extra retaliation damage - which few monsters resist - only makes it better. A good item for any shield-using character, though some may prefer a highly enchanted tower shield instead.
