This scroll enchants a wielded weapon to be more likely to hit opponents.  The gained amount is +1 or 0 if the weapon is already highly enchanted. It also does not enchant artifact weapons. The scroll may also be used to enchant [[missile]]s.

== Uses ==

This scroll is most useful applied to the character's main hand weapon.  It may be used to remove a curse on a weapon.  This scroll is not uncommon, so several will normally be found in the course of a long game.

== Effects ==

=== Uncursing ===

Any wielded cursed weapon will be uncursed. The message you get is the following:

"Your [wielded weapon] glows green for a moment."

=== Increase to-hit-modifier ===

The chance to increase the to-hit-modifier of your wielded weapon or the wielded missiles is scaled according to the current to-hit-modifier as follows:

<table border="1">

<tr><td>Current to-hit enchantement </td><td> <0 </td><td> 0 </td><td> 1 </td><td> 2 </td><td> 3 </td><td> 4 </td><td> 5 </td><td> 6 </td><td> 7 </td><td> 8 </td><td> 9 </td></tr>

<tr><td>Probability of an increase in % </td><td> 100 </td><td> 100 </td><td> 100 </td><td> 100 </td><td> 100 </td><td> 56 </td><td> 44 </td><td> 33 </td><td> 22 </td><td> 11 </td><td> 0 </td></tr>

</table>

The messages you will receive are success-dependant.

When successfully enchanting weapons:

"Your [wielded weapon] glows green for a moment."

When successfully enchanting missiles:

"Your [wielded missiles] glow green for a moment."

When the attempt to enchant anything fails:

"Nothing happens."

=== Self-Identifying ===

If the enchantment was successful the scroll is identified.
