Draining Gaze is a monsters-only Hexes spell which drains the target of some magic points and (despite the in-game description which claims the target's magic "leaks into the air") heals the casting monster by the same amount (unless it's done by an orange crystal statue). The amount of MP drained depends on the monster's hit dice. The gaze functions akin to an antimagic brand attack and is otherwise irresistible.
