This scroll places a curse on a wielded weapon.

Reading a scroll of curse weapon will curse your wielded weapon. They do not generate naturally, but Ashenzari-worshipers can produce them by praying over a scroll of remove curse.

Cursing your weapon while worshipping Ashenzari allows you to receive the god's weapon skill boost and improves the rate at which you gain piety.

History

  • In 0.18, Ashenzari's ability to create these scrolls was removed in favor of the more straightforward "curse item" ability.
  • Prior to 0.14, scrolls of curse weapon would be naturally generated as loot, just like any other scroll.
