This scroll places a curse on a wielded weapon.

Reading a scroll of curse weapon will curse your wielded weapon. They do not generate naturally, but Ashenzari-worshipers can produce them by praying over a scroll of remove curse.

Cursing your weapon while worshipping Ashenzari allows you to receive the god's weapon skill boost and improves the rate at which you gain piety.

History

Prior to 0.14, scrolls of curse weapon would be naturally generated as loot, just like any other scroll.
