Storm Queen's shield

A disc of crackling metal, created by a woman whose cunning artifice and crafty politics once united a continent. Most of her surviving inventions are closely guarded by various royals, ostensible proof of their claim to be her true successor, but this early prototype slipped through their fingers.

When it blocks an attack, 33% chance to electrocute the attacker (3d7 damage). This has a range of 3 tiles.

Allows flight

Desirability

A +5 kite shield with rElec is already a great find for many characters; the Storm Queen's shield is stronger. It gives extra retaliation damage that few monsters resist. A good item for any shield-using character, though some characters may prefer a highly enchanted tower shield instead.
