The amulet of resist corrosion amulet has a 90% chance to protect its wearer and their equipment from corrosion caused by acids. This does not stack with any other sort of resistance (e.g. from being dwarven or enchanted).
The amulet also provides one level of acid resistance, which reduces the raw damage that jellies and related monsters do.
Tips and Tricks
You can stack it with a cloak of preservation to get two levels of acid resistance: this doesn't protect your equipment any better, but it further reduces damage to your health from acidic attacks.
