Base damage is roughly 10, accounting for the speed brand, and the min delay is 4; this makes it well superior to an unbranded quick blade, and in terms of raw damage output superior to an unbranded demon whip, although the demon whip will do better against armoured targets. Despite its description, deep dwarves do not receive any racial bonuses for using this weapon.
