Parrying

Version 0.34: This article is up to date for the latest stable release of Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup.

It shields the wearer if their last action was a melee attack (+10 SH) and redirects blocked melee attacks to other nearby enemies.

The parrying brand can be found on gloves. It increases SH for 1 turn when attacking, +8 SH with no item in the offhand, or +4 SH otherwise.
