Draining Gaze is a monster-only spell. It drains players by 10% of their post-drain hp. It takes 8 casts to get drained to 50% hp without Negative energy resistance, 15 with rN+, 29 with rN++. Monsters are dranied by 20% of their HD.

History
- In 0.34 this spell was changed to apply actual draining damage and its previous version became Antimagic Gaze.
- Prior to 0.31, ghost moths healed by the amount of MP drained when using this spell.
