The amulet of warding protects you from the melee attacks of magically summoned creatures. There is a chance that they will flinch away from you instead of attacking (chance is based on the creature's magic resistance: 60 vs. the monster's MR). This amulet doesn't stack with the staff of summoning. This amulet also increases your life protection by 1.
History
Before 0.11, there were multiple levels of warding. The only level of warding that exists in 0.11 is the same as old warding 2.
