Useful Info
An apis is an extremely rare yak-type monster, found only on holy Ziggurat floors. They behave like all yaks, moving into melee range and hitting surprisingly hard with their holy horns (especially dangerous to undead or demonspawn characters). Like most holy monsters, it may be neutral towards worshipers of good gods.
Tips & Tricks
Think death yak but stronger, much more so if you're vulnerable to holy wrath.
Trivia
The apis was a sacred bull worshiped in ancient Egypt.
