Desirability
It's a +9 gold dragon armour with 50 MR: very nice if you can wear it. While it has 3 less AC than the max one can get out a mundane gold dragon armour, the MR more than makes up for this. Moreover, wearing this, if you find it, will free up enchant armour scrolls for other purposes. Any AC-based character will always want this, but sadly, all but the best casters will find it simply too cumbersome to use.
