Brain Feed is a monster-only spell which attempts to inflict 1d3 points of temporary intelligence damage on your character. It uses smite-targeting, but must overcome your magic resistance to affect you. Although this is normally just a nuisance attack, character builds with very low intelligence are at risk of stat zero, and deep dwarves and mummies should try to avoid taking stat damage whenever possible. A ring of sustain abilities will greatly reduce the danger of these attacks.
