Captain's cutlass

This infamous weapon was used by a vile pirate captain to slaughter countless innocents. Finally, he met his destiny when a kraken swallowed his ship with all the crew aboard. The cutlass was thought to be forever lost, but now you have proof to the contrary in your hands.

Base stats: 9 damage, +3 accuracy, 12 delay
Enchantment: +6, +7

Speed brand

As good as any quick blade if not better, this is a very useful weapon if you can get your hands on it. Like all short blades it may need some slaying help against high-AC targets in the end-game, even with its higher base damage. A very respectable weapon nonetheless.

Prior to 0.10 this weapon carried a slaying bonus as a property; in later versions this was incorporated into its base damage.
