This spell causes a halo of glowing light to surround and effectively outline a creature. This glow offsets the dark, musty atmosphere of the dungeon, and thereby makes the affected creature appreciably easier to hit.

Corona is a level 1 Hexes spell which causes the target to glow with an aura of light. For the duration of the spell, the target will be easier to hit (you gain a to-hit bonus of 1d8+1). Multiple castings don't stack. A creature under the effect of Corona is described as 'softly glowing.' You must have line of effect to your target to cast this, and it must overcome the target's magic resistance to take hold.

This spell also allows you to see invisible creatures, outlining their silhouette with light. After determining which tile the enemy is in, use "Z" to target a monster you can't see. This is also a preventative; it's impossible to become invisible while affected by Corona.

Enchanters and Arcane Marksmen start with this spell memorized.
