An intricate animated statue made of heavily ensorcelled, tough crystal. They are immune to most forms of magic, and are magically charged to toss great bolts of fire and cold that are reflected by any surface.

Useful Info

Crystal guardians are moderately durable golems capable of launching powerful bolts of fire or cold damage at anything they encounter. These bolts are unusual in that they can bounce off any surface. Crystal guardians can be found in the Vaults (usually with a peacekeeper), the Desolation of Salt, and some vaults.

Tips & Tricks

  • Their bolts can deal heavy fire or cold damage (randomly selected each casting), so bring the appropriate resistances. Try to prevent doublezaps; don't stand between a crystal guardian and a wall to avoid being hit twice.
  • They have infinite willpower and resistances to most elements. Lee's Rapid Deconstruction will obliterate them (and anything nearby). Other sorts of Earth Magic and pure Conjurations are also effective.
