Dowan and Duvessa are a pair of twin deep elf uniques that hunt through the Dungeon as a team and are only encountered together. Dowan is a mediocre magician, while his sister is a somewhat competent fighter; however, when either one is struck down, their sibling becomes significantly more dangerous. In Dowan's case, this means suddenly replacing his weak attack spells with much stronger ones and being automatically hasted as soon as he sees you.
Upgraded Spells: Throw Frost -> Throw Icicle, Throw Flame -> Stone Arrow

Tips & Tricks
- Neither Dowan nor Duvessa will follow you up or down stairs unless their sibling is adjacent to you too (in which case they both will) or their sibling is dead.
- The haste effect only triggers the first time Dowan sees you after killing Duvessa. If you can escape up a flight of stairs or teleport away, he'll no longer have that advantage.
- Dowan's upgraded spell list is much more dangerous than Duvessa's berserk. Kill Dowan first.
