This spell freezes the air around a target rapidly enough to both cause significant harm and cause a thick sheet of ice to form, hindering the target's movement.

Flash Freeze is a monster-only spell which fires a beam of cold that ignores EV and applies the Frozen status effect to the target. This negative enchantment lasts for 3 turns and cannot be refreshed.

The following monster can cast Flash Freeze:

Other possible sources are the wrath of Vehumet or Makhleb, and the Legendary Destruction spell.
