Lamia is a unique spellcasting naga that can be generated in the Snake Pit with a band of naga servants, including several greater nagas. She always wears a naga barding which is generated as a superb item.

Tips & Tricks
- Lamia is one of the deadlier uniques in the mid-game, capable of dealing very heavy damage both in melee and at range. If you cannot casually defeat naga warriors in melee, don't even think of attempting it against Lamia.
- Clarity will render you immune to her mesmerise spell, as will very high magic resistance. Since losing the ability to outrun her naga pack is extremely dangerous, consider avoiding her until you have this. If all else fails, an uncontrolled teleport can also get you away.
- Although you may be able to outrun her, you can't outrun her Orb of Destruction. See that spell's article for tips on dealing with it.

She will lose her band of nagas in 0.13.
