Lightning Bolt is a level 5 Conjurations/Air Magic spell which fires a bolt of lightning, dealing less reliable damage than other Bolt spells, but at longer range and with the potential to strike targets twice through multizapping. By firing your bolt into a rock or stone wall, it will bounce back at an angle, dealing damage to everything it strikes along the way. Unfortunately, the spell creates a lot of noise. Unlike other bolt-type spells, Lightning Bolt doesn't lose any squares of range when it hits monsters.

Strategy

  • Much like some of the more powerful Fire Magic spells, Lightning Bolt can be used to set trees ablaze. Followers of Dithmenos should avoid this, as he dislikes any creation of fire or light.
