Lightning scales

These scales have been fashioned into armour for a naga's lower body. Faintly crackling with electricity, they have been enchanted to allow their wearer to slither at almost a human's pace.

Desirability

Probably the best naga barding out there, the lightning scales give excellent defense, a useful resistance, and a small boost to a naga's slow movement speed. Combined with Swiftness, you'll move slightly slower than the average character, but that's still a significant improvement. If you happen to be playing a naga when you find this, strongly consider wearing it (unless you're worshipping Cheibriados; he doesn't like hasty items like this).

History

Prior to 0.13, this barding reduced movement delay by 2, but only had a +3 enchantment bonus to AC.

The lightning scales were added in 0.10.
