Naga bardings are a type of armor intended for nagas to wear in place of boots, which do not fit on their serpentine lower halves. Although significantly less common than boots, they provide double the base AC and can be enchanted twice as heavily. In exchange, they do have a slight encumbrance rating, but this has no effect on your spellcasting, stealth, unarmed combat speed, or melee accuracy.
