Useful Info

Quicksilver elementals are swift-moving antimagic menaces found in the Iron City of Dis. Their combination of status effect-dispelling bolts and MP-draining attacks make them particularly lethal to casters. They tend to move in erratic patterns.

Tips & Tricks

  • Users of powerful form-changing Transmutations should be particularly cautious around this creature. Getting hit with their bolts will unravel most enchantments, including useful buffs such as haste, Death Channel or any Form-changing spell like Necromutation.
    • This is particularly lethal to armour-restricted species, like Felids or Octopodes, who can lose the effects of Statue Form or Storm Form on a whim and be left with a negative AC score thanks to Dis’s corrosive atmosphere.
  • Casters should avoid being hit in melee at all costs, as a single attack can easily take out large portions of their MP bar. Despite their name, these elementals have normal speed, and are thus easy to kite.
