This ring passively emits an aura of loud noise, causing the wearer to be considerably less stealthy.

A ring of loudness is a ring which has no effect except to reduce your stealth, making it harder to go unnoticed by monsters in your line of sight. They are always generated cursed and are identified when initially put on.

Rings of loudness are currently available in trunk and may be added in 0.15.
