This ring occasionally exerts its power to randomly translocate its wearer to another place, and can be deliberately activated for the same effect.

The ring of teleportation induces teleportitis in its wearer so long as it is worn. It is always generated cursed.

Strategy

Rings of teleportation are almost always bad items to wear. The only possible exception might be while journeying the Abyss, but even that's questionable.

History

Prior to 0.18, rings of teleportation could be evoked to teleport, so they were not completely harmful items.
