Name Stone
Launcher Sling / Greatsling / Throwing
Base damage 4
A small chunk of dense but otherwise unremarkable natural mineral. It can be thrown by hand or launched with a sling.

"How happy is the little Stone
That rambles in the Road alone,
And doesn't care about Careers
And Exigencies never fears -
Whose Coat of elemental Brown
A passing Universe put on,
And independent as the Sun
Associates or glows alone,
Fulfilling absolute Decree
In casual simplicity -"

-Emily Dickinson, "How happy is the little Stone". ca. 1865.

Stones are an extremely common form of ammo which can be either thrown by hand or launched from a sling or greatsling to deal minimal damage. They are never branded. While they may seem unimpressive, they do have a few useful features:

  • Jellies are unable to consume stones, so many players will carry a stack of stones around with them for the sole purpose of killing jellies without risking equipment corrosion.
  • If you wield stones while casting the Sandblast spell, its range and damage will increase. This consumes one stone per casting.
