"How happy is the little Stone
That rambles in the Road alone,
And doesn't care about Careers
And Exigencies never fears -
Whose Coat of elemental Brown
A passing Universe put on,
And independent as the Sun
Associates or glows alone,
Fulfilling absolute Decree
In casual simplicity -"

-Emily Dickinson, "How happy is the little Stone". ca. 1865.

Stones are an extremely common form of ammo which can be either thrown by hand or launched from a sling or greatsling to deal minimal damage. They are never branded. While they may seem unimpressive, they do have a few useful features:

  • Some players will carry a stack of stones around with them for the purpose of softening up early-game Jellies without risking equipment corrosion.
  • Sandblast spell consumes one stone per casting directly from inventory, but no longer functions without ammo as of 0.20
