The Tile version from Enne Walker is great. Thanks for this. Giz 12:15, 30 December 2007 (MST)

Stone Soup specific content

Hello. I'm relatively new to crawl/wiki, and looking to add some stone-soup specific content, and wondering what kind of structure would be most appropriate? If my information is specific only to the current stable Stone Soup version, do you think it should have its own tree for items such as aptitudes, spells, books, et cetera? In the mean time, feel free to correct me or suggest improvements to layout, as I am very new to wiki editing. --Perryman

As there isn't all that much content in the wiki currently, basically everybody could set a standard just by contributing a significant amount of information. If you want a recommendation, though, I think that the wiki should reflect the current state of Crawl, which, for me, means the most recent stable release of Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. Content from other versions (such as the Hill Dwarf species from earlier versions or the Shoals branch from the development branch) is appropriate, but should explicitly be marked as such. Highly detailed information for some aspects of older versions (such as what the short blades aptitude for Mountain Dwarves was in 4.0.0b26) probably isn't worth it, though. On a sidenote, when (and only when) you edit a discussion page (such as this one, basically pages that start with "Talk:") you might want to sign your statements, which you can do by using ~~~~, which will get turned into this: "Anym 02:04, 25 February 2008 (MST)". (With your username and time, of course. I already added your username to your original comment for reference's sake.)
