::(I`ve now reflected many fire based attacks with my Donald-shield, and dithmenos never mady me feel guilty or anything.) I also took the time and wizmoded a bit: Created a big kobold and gave him poisoned darts, which I then reflected at him, while having TSO as god. No piety change or status message, in several reflected poison shots. I`d say the info is outdated and reflection has been changed. --[[User:BlueCrake|BlueCrake]] ([[User talk:BlueCrake|talk]]) 11:32, 6 July 2014 (CEST)

MoogleDan, have you tried it in wizard mode against, for example, a Naga mage? I'm pretty sure this stuff has not changed. Also, you should know that DMsl and RMsl do not improve your blocking ability (SH), only your dodging ability (EV). DMsl/Rmsl are useless for characters with very low EV. --CommanderC 19:19, 16 May 2013 (CEST)

I haven't tried it in Wizard mode, but I've seen it poison attacks strike both demonic and natural opponents while worshiping TSO without any penance. If you can trigger it, however, feel free to change it back. As for the Deflect Missile bit, that would be my mistake. I thought Deflect Missile reduced enemy accuracy instead of boosting player EV. Reducing their to-hit would make things easier to block, no? --MoogleDan 22:31, 16 May 2013 (CEST)
The accuracy is reduced *after* the player SH has been tested. --CommanderC 00:45, 17 May 2013 (CEST)

Penance

Just reflected a crossbow bolt of fire while being a Dithmenos worshipper. Usualle there is penance for that? My god just accepted the kill. Is the bit about treating it as your attacks in the eyes of the gods still true or is it only Dithmenos turning a blind eye? (Bolt were unbranded, Crossbow was of Flame) --BlueCrake (talk) 01:13, 5 July 2014 (CEST)

The penance issue has traditionally only come into play with TSO, and only under specific circumstances; reflecting poison attacks at demons has never bothered him. This sounds like a very similar case though. Perhaps TSO's issue has been fixed? Or perhaps Dithmenos is coded differently? It sounds like something we'd need a code diver to really figure out, but it seems as though it's an arbitrary and asymmetrical situation. --MoogleDan (talk) 04:58, 6 July 2014 (CEST)
