Silver vulnerability of monsters

No relevant info on the effectivity of silver ammunition against monsters up to now. Against deep down menaces like Tentacled monstrosity or Orb of fire whose single vulnerability is silver, that should be of interest. Anyone out there able to provide code-based numbers to silver vulnerability of monsters? (I myself don't know where in "git" to look for it.) -- Bwijn 11:28, 7 April 2013 (CEST)

There are some calculations on the Silver page. Is this what you are looking for?
Also I guess we should include a part in the monster section of this page about Silver vulnerable monsters. --Flun 20:11, 7 April 2013 (CEST)
Okay, there is a section "Silver Damage Calculation" that fits. But there are no examples that exemplify the usefulness. Silver darts with base damage of "2" are nonsense even against sky monsters (175% of 2 = ~3). Javelins with base damage of "10" come to a damage of 17,5 if silver branded. That's nice against a Tentacled monstrosity but is it enough to count as useful? They are not slow and they have 150 HP and the throwing distance is ~5 fields. I guess only the crossbow ammunition (base 9) has really a considerable dam output. Luckily those are the most silver ammo findings, while javelins are very rare and high weight. -- Bwijn 20:59, 7 April 2013 (CEST)
Killing some monsters with silver is something nice that happens when your main weapon is a crossbow or a sling. If your best source of damage is something else, you shouldn't be using any silver ammo at all. Btw, tentacled monst. are not vulnerable to silver. --CommanderC 15:38, 8 April 2013 (CEST)
