Useful Info

Water moccasins are larger and stronger than the adders found early on, but are otherwise very similar. They move fast, deal poison damage with their bites, and move extremely quickly through water. They commonly appear in the Lair and the Snake Pits.

Tips & Tricks

  • Ideally, you should be equipped to survive poison by the time you encounter them, but fighting from a distance is still advised. Water moccasins are faster than the average character, so Swiftness or Blink are useful for escaping.

History

Prior to 0.6, water mocassins were called brown snakes.
