Wizard hats are a form of head armour. Just like caps, they provide no base AC, but can be used by characters with antennae, beaks, or all but the largest horns and can be enchanted to +2. Wizard hats can have the following egos:
- Intelligence (+3)
- Magic resistance (+30)
The unique elephant slug Gastronok always carries a wizard hat which has a good chance of being enchanted or even an artefact.
