Desirability
Next to none, actually. The only thing extraordinary about this weapon is its high to-damage enchantment, but its lack of a brand makes it inferior to even a well-enchanted battleaxe of chopping. Combine this with its *RAGE property that necessitates you to use your amulet slot to nerf the berserkitis, and you have a weapon that's basically never useful.
Trivia
This is one of the oldest artefacts in the game, which perhaps explains its continued existence. True to the weapon's description, Trog will never gift it, since he can't seem to find it.
