Command

• Pressing ~ will display the game's menu, which lists out a variety of options:
  • Exit menu (Esc)
  • Save the game (S)
  • Create character dump (as #)
  • Edit player tile (-, not available on Webtiles)
  • Edit macros and keymaps (~)
  • Help (?)
  • Lookup info (/, as ?/)
  • Quit and suicide (Q, as ctrl-Q)

Many of these options are available without opening this menu (with the same keys, too).

History

• Prior to 0.27, the ~ command was purely to edit macros/keymaps.
