Envelops a target in a thin layer of magnetically charged metal fragments, then unleashes a powerful surge of electricity that arcs unerringly towards every visible target coated in these fragments - firing an additional beam at each target thus marked.

Magnetised creatures are additionally unable to evade attacks and will be revealed if invisible. If they die while still coated, they will leave behind a short-lived cloud of electrified metal that will continue to serve as a lightning rod for this spell.

Magnavolt is a level 7 Air/Earth smite-targeted spell that coats a target with a thin layer of magnetised metal and then fires a bolt of electricity at every visible enemy that is magnetised in this way.

Useful Info

Irresistibly inflicts the magnetised status for a short time, which reduces the target's EV to 0 and reveals invisible enemies. If a magnetised enemy dies, it leaves behind a stationary cloud of magnetised fragments for a brief while.

After inflicting the status, it fires a bolt at each enemy and each cloud of magnetised fragments. This means that the first time you cast this spell will fire 1 bolt, but repeatedly casting it will fire 2, 3, 4, and so forth.

The bolts follow the same trajectory as any regular projectile. It's treated as if you aimed directly at the intended target, so there will always be one (and only one) possible path per target. You can view possible paths by targeting this spell.

Strategy

  • Combos well with the Earth Conjurations (Bombard, LCS), since they have low accuracy.
  • Killing an enemy affected by Magnavolt leaves a stationary cloud of fragments, which helps make the spell more predictable.
