I'm very leery of recommending this, because it only applies if you find an unbranded lajatang AND have access to the spell. This isn't a common combination, and moreover it's also one that won't last long: either you'll put a vorpal brand on it read-ID'ing scrolls, or if you can, you'll put a freezing brand (because overall that's better) on it as soon as you can. I'm very leery of recommending this, because it only applies if you find an unbranded lajatang AND have access to the spell. This isn't a common combination, and moreover it's also one that won't last long: either you'll put a vorpal brand on it read-ID'ing scrolls, or if you can, you'll put a freezing brand (because overall that's better) on it as soon as you can.
