What a fine idea! I like it for it's humor and somewhat regret that it was removed. - Not to rain on your parade, but it wasn't intended to be humorous. See the third definition, it's just another word for bewitch or enchant. Nowadays it appears with some frequency in vampire mythology (notably in True Blood), but evidently the DCSS devs decided it didn't fit with the vampire race when they introduced it. -Ion frigate 11:48, 21 January 2013 (CET)
