:Look at the entry for [http://crawl.develz.org/info/inline.php?q=brimstone+fiend brimstone fiend].  It's a pretty rare spell, much rarer than cantrip; I actually can't think of any other examples right now.  It's also very, very old, maybe even pre-DCSS; to be honest it's something of a legacy spell.  All that it does is cause the monster to choose not to cast a spell; having no spell in the slot will cause it to reroll for another one. -[[User:Ion frigate|Ion frigate]] 18:15, 23 January 2013 (CET)

When did the knowledge bots get updated with that?? I don't remember seeing "melee" anywhere before... Is this part of 0.11.1? Anyway, as for consistency, I'm looking through the list of categories now and this appears to be the complete list of "list of spell" related categories (ignoring the Magic School-related ones):

Look at the entry for brimstone fiend, but yeah, the knowledge bots have had this spell for a while.
