Version 0.32: This article may not be up to date for the latest stable release of Crawl.
| An unadorned malachite ring, half of an ancient pair. Its wearer is exceptionally difficult to catch. |
Desirability
The ring of the Hare[1] is an excellent ring for defense. 10 EV is very significant, especially at lower EV values (as low EV characters tend to have high AC). It is a great general ring for most characters.
History
- Prior to 0.30, this ring only gave +8 EV. This was because rings of evasion only gave +4 EV.
- Prior to 0.26, this ring was called the ring of Phasing.
- Prior to 0.20, this ring was known as the ring of Shaolin.
