A Protean talisman is a talisman that will turn into a tier 2 talisman when Put on with at least 6 Shapeshifting skill.
The talisman has an equal chance to turn into one of the following talismans:
Shapeshifters start with a protean talisman; otherwise, this talisman can only generate in certain vaults.
History
- In 0.34, spore talismans were added, while maw talismans tier were shifted upwards, making spore talisman replace maw talisman in the possible outcome of the Protean talisman.
- Protean talismans were added in 0.33.
