Version 0.19: This article may not be up to date for the latest stable release of Crawl.
A phosphorescent cloak, woven of pure light beams. |
+1 cloak
Desirability
The cloak of Starlight is usually a very competitive piece of equipment. The good enchantment and +4 EV provide a significant boost to base defenses, and both cold and electricity resistance come in handy fairly often. The stealth hit is generally not too painful; usually you either have enough stealth that it doesn't matter, or you aren't using stealth at all. Stabbers might disagree when attempting to take out a sleeping unique, but in most cases it shouldn't be an issue.
