A weapon imbued with magic to disrupt and destroy the forces binding undead creatures together. Legends say that, long ago, a lich lord created many such weapons to ensure the loyalty of his undead servants. Sadly, this mace might be the last one left. |

Desirability
Undeadhunter[1] is a solidly enchanted weapon that deals superlative damage to undead opponents. While disruption is less versatile than holy wrath (as it has no impact against demons), it can be used by demonspawn, vampires, mummies, and ghouls, and its damage output against undead opponents is far superior to a weapon of holy wrath. If you find it and are already using two-handed maces, it's a good switch for places such as the Tomb or the Crypt, or when facing down bone dragons or liches. A mundane weapon with a more universally powerful brand is likely to be better for general use, though.
History
Prior to 0.15, Undeadhunter had a +7, +7 enchantment level.
Prior to 0.14, Undeadhunter may have been considered an evil weapon with the good gods forbidding the use of it.
Prior to 0.9, Undeadhunter bore a holy wrath brand and was unwieldable by evil characters as a result.
