Bestows an enchantment on other nearby living creatures that causes them to rise as simulacra after being slain.

Bind Souls is a monsters-only spell that enchants all living creatures in the caster's LOS for some time. When an enchanted creature is slain, a simulacrum matching them will be created in the vicinity. This spell also prevents your own undead-creating Necromancy (except Death Channel) from working.

History

  • Prior to 0.27, a simulacrum would only appear if an enchanted monster would drop a corpse.
  • Bind Souls was introduced in 0.19.
