Desirability

Based solely on its base stats, the storm bow is an excellent weapon; a +8 longbow can inflict massive damage in the right hands. On top of that, its brand is one of the most desirable possible choices for a ranged weapon.

History

Prior to 0.23, the storm bow would occasionally create rain clouds around the wielder, which could turn normal terrain into shallow water and shallow water into deep water for up to 100 turns.
