Desirability

It can be useful in the early game or if you need poison or cold resistance (or if you just really hate crimson imps). Unfortunately, it's a rather weak weapon in the long run, especially against cold-resistant foes. A stabber might get some use out of it if they're sneaky enough (especially considering the presence of cold-blooded late-game foes like dragons and draconians, but this will generally only ever see use as an exchangable source of extra resistances for casters.
